Hard Disk	1 GB free space for VM Backup program and settings. 15 GB free space for temporary files created during backup operations. 2 GB free space for Hyper-V Host Agent. Minimum 10% free disk space on each volume holding live VM data for Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy. Minimum 10% free disk space on each backup location holding backup data.
Display	Minimum screen resolution 1280x800 for the Management Console. Standard display compatible with the respective operating system.

Supported backup locations include USB external drives, eSATA external drives, USB flash drives, file server network shares using UNC paths, NAS devices using UNC paths, internal hard drives, RDX cartridges, Offsite Backup Server, and cloud storage.
Note	Requires Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8. Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 and Windows Hyper-V Server 2008 R2 SP1 require Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 or higher. The main VM Backup installation cannot be installed on a domain controller. Windows client operating systems are supported only for the Management Tools UI where listed. Windows 8.1 is not separately listed in Hornetsecurity Version 9 requirements. vSphere and vCenter 5.5 / 6.0 / 6.5 / 6.7 / 7.0 / 8.0 are supported. ESXi 5.5 / 6.0 / 6.5 / 6.7 / 7.0 / 8.0 / 9.0 is supported. vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi 5.0 and 5.1 are no longer supported in Version 9. Free VMware ESXi is not supported. Proxmox VE 8.4 / 9.0 / 9.1 is supported. Proxmox VE hosts require a working Internet connection. Proxmox VE replication and CDP are currently not supported. Proxmox VE hosts are not supported for Boot from Backup for Verification only.
