Hard Disk	VM Backup: 1 GB free space for program and settings plus 15 GB free space for temporary files created during backup operations. Hyper-V Host Agent: 2 GB free space. Installer download size: approximately 247 MB. Minimum 10 percent free disk space required on each volume holding live VM data for Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy. Minimum 10 percent free disk space required on each backup location holding backup data.

Exchange Item Level Restore is supported from NTFS formatted partitions.
Note	Requires Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8. Internet connection required for Proxmox VE hosts. Main VM Backup installation cannot be installed on a domain controller. Windows client operating systems are supported only for the Management Tools UI where explicitly listed. Windows 8.1 is not listed in the current official VM Backup support table. Windows Server 2003 is not listed in the current official VM Backup support table. VMware ESXi free edition is not supported. VMware vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi 5.0 and 5.1 are no longer supported in VM Backup V9. Proxmox VE replication and CDP are not currently supported. Proxmox VE LXC container backup is not supported. Proxmox VE Boot from Backup is supported for verification only. Backup of pass-through and RDM raw device mappings is not supported. SMB file shares in cloud locations such as Azure Files are not supported as backup locations. Target storage partitions must be NTFS or ReFS formatted, or network paths accessible by SMB 3.0.
